Do You Get a Tracking Number with Bitcoin Postage?
Yes — every label bought with Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency includes the carrier's standard tracking number, identical to postage bought with a card. You can track USPS, FedEx, DHL and Canada Post shipments door-to-door on our tracking page or directly on the carrier's website.
When do you receive the tracking number?
As soon as your cryptocurrency payment is confirmed and the label is generated — usually within minutes of paying. The tracking number is printed on the label itself and shown with your order, so you have it before the package ever leaves your hands.
Where can you track the package?
Anywhere the carrier's own tracking works. Use the USPostage.io tracking page to follow any shipment by tracking number, or paste the number straight into usps.com, fedex.com, dhl.com, or canadapost.ca. It is a standard carrier tracking number — nothing about paying with Bitcoin changes how it scans or updates. You can also look up past orders any time with your order ID or email on the order lookup page.
Can your customers see the tracking too?
Yes. If you sell online, you can pass the tracking number to your customer exactly as you would with any other postage, and an optional customized email notification can be sent to your customer once an order ships.
