Bitcoin Postage Refunds: 14-Day Policy Explained
Unused shipping labels bought with Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency can be refunded within 14 days of purchase. Contact support with your order number or tracking number and a cryptocurrency address, and the refund is returned to you in crypto once the carrier confirms the label was never scanned.
What qualifies for a refund?
Any label that was purchased but never used — meaning the carrier never scanned it into their network — qualifies within 14 days of purchase. Common cases: you bought the wrong service level, entered the wrong package weight, the sale fell through, or you simply changed your mind. Once a label has been scanned and the package is moving, the postage has been spent and can no longer be refunded.
How to request a refund
- Go to the support page and open a request by email.
- Include the tracking number or order number from your purchase — either is enough to locate the label.
- Include a cryptocurrency address for the refund. Refunds are paid in crypto, back to an address you control.
The label is verified as unused with the carrier and the refund is then sent to your address. No account is needed to request a refund — the order number and email used at checkout are sufficient.
Address mistakes don't need a refund
If you only got the address wrong, you usually don't need to go through a refund at all: address corrections and label reprints are free, with no surprise charges. It's often faster to correct and reprint than to refund and repurchase.
What about insurance claims?
Refunds cover unused postage only. Lost or damaged packages are handled through the carrier's own insurance and claims process — file directly with USPS, FedEx, DHL, or Canada Post using your tracking number.
